We just found out that Woody's is closed. It looks permanent since even the drive through menu has been removed. The sign is still on at night, but the light is on but nobody is home. Does anyone know what happened?

My neighbor use to eat there a lot, and I believe it was about six months ago he told me they closed. The main problem I see is the location. It's near a Turnpike exit, but hidden behind other buildings and they had no billboard advertising on the Turnpike or on Hwy 301. You would never know it was back there unless you were staying at the motel. Plus the opening of Oakwood in Wildwood two years ago probably didn't help.

Always womdered about that place..they would have signs but u never saw the store.

Im more upset that the sausage guys will not be back in brownwood. May not be back anywhere..seems they have other businesses

Oakwood cheapen on their ribs. Get about 1/2 the amount. We go to Sonny’s, good and always get enough. Just not worth driving and paying for less.
