On Buena Vista Blvd, pass St Charles there is a sign "St James". Is this a new village? Have they started building there yet?
I know the sign has been there for some time

Yes to it being a new village. I know they were doing the infrastructure a short time ago. Not sure if they've actually started building, but I believe so.

I am curious about it too. There is an entrance near Pennecamp/Buttonwood for construction traffic only to what we thought was St. James and in April that traffic entering and exiting was huge. They most certainly are working on it.
Since we are listing both our house in Cincinnati and our house in Hadley soon, will St. James be OUR new village???

I'm guessing that once Bonita/Hemingway etc are closed out (soon), the emphasis will turn to Pennecamp, St. Charles, Buttonwood. St. James looks to be the last village north of CR466-A. I saw some big earthmovers there t'other day, but didn't catch any glimpse of buildings. Still, I'm guessing very soon!

I think there's one more out there - Fish Hawk? Not sure, someone help us out here. Might be adjacent to St. James/St. Charles/Buttonwood? Or is that just the name of the newest neighborhood rec center that should open soon. I may be confused :)

Fish Hawk is off Buttonwood in that area. Already working hard on housing in that area. St. James is still under mass grading and underground. Tamarind Grove is still in process also. it will run off of St. Charles. That is all Distirct 8. Yes there are signs warning people to stay out of those areas, always remember when it is a designated construction zone and marked as such, construction vehicles always have the right of way. All others must yield to them.

that they haven't really started selling houses in yet, and a few more to finish and close out. There's not much left in Hemingway, Bonita or probably St. Charles, but many lots still available in Buttonwood and Pennecamp. Not even sure if any lots are still for sale in the former. I think there are quite a few that have been sold but not built on yet.
Have been told there are going to be 11 Villages south of 466A, and of course the town center of Brownwood Paddock. I think there is just going to be one more country club south of 466A, and I'm not sure how many executive courses. I think someone has posted that info at one time.

Ohio,
I think you're right when you said "I think there are quite a few that have been sold but not built on yet". We bought a golf course lot in Pennecamp on January 3 of this year and have a year to build. Our lot is on Pennecamp Drive. When we were there last month most of the lots on our side of the street were still vacant even though they were all sold in early January. We will not start building until early January, 2011 and I'm sure there are many more that are waiting till the last minute.

This thread has some discussion on golf courses south of 466A. https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20812&highlight=golf+courses+466A
When we moved here two years ago I had asked our realtor about this and her comment then was three championships and five executives were planned for south of 466A. But I have not seen anything official to back up that statement.
