I want to apply for TSA Pre check. Has anyone applied in either Sanford or one of the two locations in Orlando? The airport or 8818 Commodity Circle. Anyone use any of these places?

TIA

We went to Sanford for our interview and it was a nice drive and much easier access than Orlando airport. It's been 3 years so we're almost due for renewal.

We went to Orlando at the airport. Not a bad drive, and got in and out quickly.

If you think you might fly international in the next five years go for Global Entry instead. Costs the same ($100 for 5 years) and you get TSA Precheck + bypass customs lines when returning to the States.

You might consider waiting until you plan to pickup or drop off someone at the Orlando Airport and then schedule your appointment at a time that you could make before or after. I did it and it worked out well and I didn't need to make a special trip.

kathyGreat advice. We renewed our Global Entry this year and were able to do it online without having to go for an in person interview.

Thanks for the information about Global Entry, but i went with TSA Precheck. I don't plan on going out of the country anytime soon.

I checked appointment times on line, and was able to get an appointment the 7th at the airport. I was in and out in ten minutes, and received my "number" yesterday. Took a total of five days.

Thanks again!
