We were driving down to Spanish Springs tonight and I was surprised to see the Christmas Tree was up! What the heck! Secondly, it was located in the walkway at the end of Main Street. IMHO, bad location.
Are the trees up at the other squares as well?

Well Christmas is just over a month away, T'giving two weeks, I see no problem. I think the location is perfect for the tree. Once it is lit I think you will agree. Perfect sight coming up main St. A better spot than last year I think, as it took space away from the square itself.

Was at Epcot yesterday for Wine and Food Festival and aside from the overwhelming amount of construction going on which made it not so nice, other than Christmas souvenirs in some shops no outside signs of Christmas that we noticed.

Was at Magic Kingdom two weeks ago and it was all Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween. Maybe Disneyland.

I second the motion that the location is perfect. Front and center where it belongs.

Don’t know who started the tradition of the giant Christmas tree at the square or when. But although the little white crosses are frowned upon (me too), if the developer’s family started this, then it shows great kindness and consideration and I’d like to thank them.

The crosses, they are deed restricted, NOT disliked at least by the majority of people who live here.
Most of us love Christmas, but there are Menorrah along with the tree in each rec center too. (I think I spelled that wrong. I am sorry Ruthie)

Menorah is also a wonderful symbol. To me it represents our Judeo Christian origins. And the harmony we should be living in. My classroom always had one. And, few Christians don’t believe in the Old Testament.
