OP, you might want to include the type of house construction, stick (vinyl siding), concrete block, or poured concrete, the work to replace windows is different for the different types of construction. You might also call home warranty, and they can tell you the original installer and windows, then you can talk to the original installer to see if there is any warranty, and their costs to replace existing windows.
