Sams Scan and Go

Got roped into going to Sam's yesterday. Saw a sign on the door about Scan and Go. Installed it on my phone and entered the requisite info. Scanned each item as they went into the cart. When we got the last item, I hit checkout and a receipt popped up on the phone. Headed for the door and away we went. Best Sam's visit ever.

Been using it for over a year and it works great. The very first time I used it, due to being unfamiliar with it, I mistakenly paid for 13 watermelons when I only had one. They caught it as I was leaving and issued a refund. So I learned to check the quantity of an item that I scanned.

We have been using this app for awhile. It is a great time saver when going to Sam’s!

Another vote for Scan and Go.....been using it for a couple years. Wish it would work at all Walmart locations.

Sounds great. Now, they need to eliminate the line to check your receipt before you leave. The last time I was at Sam's that line was longer than the checkout lines.

Sam's has to do a better job of moving people through the registers (like Costco does) and eliminate the poor excuse of security at the exit....then scan and go would be the icing on the cake!!

We use that app, sadly. I say that because I can no longer slip any “goodies” into the cart, unbeknownst to my spouse, while we’re shopping. Sigh.

Normally, I don’t, but due to knee surgery, he comes along to make sure I don’t fall down. Mixed blessing. ;-)

Just do what a guy did the last time I was there...he bypassed the line on the left, checkout lady caught him, scanned his receipt and out he went before the people who were waiting in line. 😡

Agree totally. Plus person at door said they give a 5% discount for using the app.

It's not a discount...... but a 5% cash back deal. And......

:) Not just using the app. You also have to tie your Sam's Club Mastercard to it and use it to pay. This adds to the cash rewards you are already earning. Also the extra 5% is til 12/31/19.

I've been using it since they started it and love the convenience. :ho:
