Some people think Obama is over his head and not as bright as he has been portrayed. I do not subscribe to that view. He is brilliant....dangerously brilliant and sinesterlly motivated and driven by a plan to convert our government into the vision of the great Marxist icons. His success in this pursuit depends on creating a systemic failure through a confluence of crisis and chaos including economic, social and the dismantling of capitalism. Yes, he is the architect of this planned failure aided and abetted by a Democratic Congress. His goal is to destroy the present form of government from within.

I have challenged the left and the libs who regularly post here to convince me that the Cloward - Piven strategy is nothing more than right wing rhetoric. The silence on this subject has been deafening. The left, libs and democrats have avoided comment on CLoward-Piven like the plague. Why? Sad...but...no matter....their silence speaks more than their defense of the indefensible.



In order to make any sense out of the bizarre spending policies of the Obama administration, you have to take time to study the Cloward/Piven strategy. Cloward and Piven were radical political scientists at Columbia in the mid-60's.

The radical duo called for bankrupting the welfare system by forcing more and more entitlements. Cities were targeted to "flood-the-rolls", break the public coffers and create chaos. The idea was to collapse our entire system of government and pave the way for pure socialism.

Activist groups pushing the Cloward/Piven scheme popped up in cities across the country. One such group, the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO), founded by African-American militant George Alvin Wiley, was successful in the bankrupting of New York City in 1975. Other groups were formed led by guess who?????? Would you believe a cult called A.C.O.R.N

These movements rely heavily on financial support from...guess who?????

In its earliest form, the Cloward-Piven strategy applied Alinsky's principle to the specific area of welfare entitlements. Oh... it doesn't stop there. The mobilization of the masses to over burden government resources provided a perfect storm that was parlayed into "voter rights" movements in urban areas. Hmmm....do you remember recent elections and tea parties tainted by Black Panther Party intimidation and union bulls beating a black man? Of course the Republican Party was the beneficiary of all this mobilization. Just testing to see if you are paying attention.

TOTV posters, do not assume that the economic blunders of the Obama administration are the product of inexperience. That is what they want you to think. Try viewing them through the prism of the Cloward/Piven Strategy tempered with Sal Alinsky and Karl Marx.

The bank busting, economy destroying Obama Healthcare Plan, Cap and Trade (TAX) suddenly makes more sense when connected with the Cloward/Piven Strategy. In one swoop, the goal of bankrupting and collapsing the system will be achieved. Call me crazy but from my abstract, minority perspective, there seems to be some insidious logic in the process.

WHERE DID THE BAILOUT AND STIMULUS MONEY GO - It went to unions, billions went to teachers, it went to big Democratic contributors like Goldman/Sachs and AIG, it went to ACORN, it went to unions through GM and Chrysler so union dues and contributions continued throughout. These entitlements are not sustainable and deliberately designed to overload and bankrupt the system.

HEALTHCARE - It is not about healthcare. It is about adding 30 million voters to the entitlement rosters who will become dependant more and more on government. It is about taking over 1/6 of the economy and specifically adding union and government jobs. These entitlements are not sustainable and deliberately designed to overload and break the system.

CAP AND TRADE - Has nothing to do with global warming. It is a Trojan horse designed to redistribute wealth, payback unions and special interests like GE and George Soros who shares Obama's view and ideology tempered with a profit motive. That is a whole new thread.

LEGALIZATION OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS - and the granting of healthcare, welfare and copious other entitlements at the expense of all taxpayers. That would be conservatively 12 million more new entitlement consumers who would vote Democratic to keep the dole going. These entitlements are not sustainable and deliberately designed to overload and break the system.

The plan is working by creating millions of new entitlement class voters who will pathetically and desperately need big socialist government to survive. Obama wants to concurrently kill capitalism by destroying job creators, big business and small business by usurious taxation and the killing of incentive and initiative.

Nancy Coppock, American Thinker observed these programs are financed with deficit spending, the effect of the Cloward/Piven Strategy becomes doubly destructive. Talk about a perfect storm! The Democrat stimulus plan is a mechanism whose goal is the destruction of the traditional American way of life. It is bitter irony that the American taxpayer will actually fund the destruction of his own ability to live according to the values of our Founding Documents. It is not alarmist to identify this situation as a coup d'etat.

As the flow of money from the top of the economy dries up, job losses and mortgage busts will mount exponentially. The Democrat stimulus plan provides for welfare expansion but not for a robust economy that creates high paying jobs. Is this what Obama means when he warns, "It's going to get worse before it gets better?" If we are not bailing out corporate America so they can regain profitability, we must conclude Obama is working toward another end goal. Recognizing these attack methods reveals the only logical response -- an unwavering wall of "No!"

Folks, if you don't see the hammer and sickle of Marxism in these current events......you really need to research the Cloward-Piven strategy and Obama's cold, unapologetic and calculating step by step pursuit and implementation of that plan....before it's too late.

Consistent with your observation and not surprising is that Obama's first Supreme Court appointment was the leftist Sotomayor. who is an International Law true believer. I remember that from her confirmation hearings. She thinks we can learn a lot from and should incorporate International Law decisions in our precedents.

I just heard his new nominee Kagan advocate for International Law. Kagan, while serving as the President of Harvard made the study of International Law a prerequisite for graduation. Strangely, the study of Constitutional Law is not required. It adds credibility to your post regarding the calculated undermining of our Constitution.

The crisis in NY peaked in October of 1975 (NY Times). The NWRO went bankrupt in March of 1975 (Wikipedia).

New York never went bankrupt.

Oh it was CLOSE - papers were going to be filed. But it never happened. I'd moved from NYC to NH in 1974 so I was aware, even though I was young, of the problems the city was having.

And for some radical group to claim they were the reason NY had so many problems is to have delusions of grandeur. Especially when the group itself went bankrupt half a year before.

The reason NY was going down the drain is because they were borrowing money to cover operating deficits, not just capital expenditures.

djplong, you missed the point. The NWRO went bankrupt. The people they assisted in getting on welfare and other government programs were still on the programs. NWRO's founder studied under Cloward and Piven. Wiley's NWRO was one of Cloward and Piven's first experiments with "flood-the-rolls, bankrupt-the-cities" plan.

"These methods proved effective. `The flooding succeeded beyond Wiley's wildest dreams,' writes Sol Stern in the Manhattan Institute's City Journal. 'From 1965 to 1974, the number of single-parent households on welfare soared from 4.3 million to 10.8 million, despite mostly flush economic times.'"

From Discover the Networks, "With Richard Nixon's accession to the White House in 1968, the federal funds that drove NWRO began drying up. So did the public's patience for the sort of violent tactics Wiley promoted. As money tightened, NWRO's leaders began turning on each other. White activists were driven from leadership positions by black extremists. Wiley himself came under attack for his middle-class background. A poor people's organization should be run by poor people, the insurgents declared. Pressure grew to fill every leadership slot with welfare recipients, rather than with the professional activists who had previously led NWRO.
