Another Aldi Coming

Plans have been submitted to build an Aldi on the southwest corner of CR466 and US301, across 466 from Wawa.

I agree, BTK. Its currently an extremely busy intersection and difficult to maneuver with all the traffic.

Aldi's are pretty savvy people; I am sure the entrances will be easy to negotiate and to me it looks like there will be a side entrance off 301. Entering from 466 once you are through the intersection would be a nightmare, but if the main entrance is off 301 it should be do-able. On the other hand if you are coming in from Wildwood it could be hazardous to your health!

I love Aldi and was happy to hear another is coming close to where we live.Save so much money there compared to the other stores.
Aldi folks do their planning so entrance and exit should be OK

About 3 PM today I was coming from North on 301 to the 466 intersection. Traffic backed up at least 4 light changes to get through.
While sitting there I was just imagining how the traffic will be trying to get in or out of the proposed new Aldi....either onto 466 solid with cars at the light....or dashing onto 301.

I guess if WaWa clients deal with it....so will Aldi's customers.

The one on 27 is accessible by golf cart thru the historic side. The new one on 466/301 will be open mid summer, plans at Wildwood City Hall.

Right now it sounds like a horror show, but I am hopeful that both Aldi and Wildwood know what they are doing. :pray:
