Had mine replaced 8 years ago about 2 months ago started collected fluid. Drained 60+cc twice had scans done, blood work, fluid sent out both times nobody knows why. 3 different doctors including Shands. Have another appointment tomorrow with a new doctor. all I can say is good luck and I feel your pain believe me!

You might want to look into Synvisc injection. This is not a cortisone product. It is synthetic viscosity, a gel like substance which cushions the bones in your knee joint. I have had 3 injections in the last 8 years and I still have my knee. I was going to have knee replacement surgery but tried this first and the knee joint is still good.
