On the radio this afternoon, caught a portion of Hannity and Eugene Kane was sitting in for Sean. He was talking about Jefferson and what he would think if he were to show up around Apr 15 and found you working on your taxes. Couldn't find the story on the internet but did find these links which I found interesting.

He (Eugene) also said our founding fathers did the work for us and now it's up to us to be the "Defending fathers". Totally agree

At first glance, Jefferson would be spinning like a lathe in his grave.

What I'd REALLY like to see is to have him also be exposed to the Euro-socialism systems. Compare how the poor lived in France during his time and how the state is cradle-to-grave-ing them now. Compare that with our system as it is now and see what he'd have to say.

I think the numbers (the idea of a millionaire that wasn't royalty was foreign in his time - much less a Bill Gates billionaire) would make his head spin. But *damn* that would be a talk I'd love to be in on.
