Agree...….been waiting and watching, drive over on the weekends but yup, it is a bit too close for us. Maybe as they expand inward, we will see but so far not so good.

Just a question for the OP......were you given permission to be in the construction zone? Generally there are signs telling folks to not be in there. As for the noise...I thought it would be much louder and it truly wasn't all that bad. I think about homes along 466 as well as 466a....haven't heard anyone there complaining about traffic noises. Yes, I know I'm comparing a freeway to a regular highway but it's similar.

I had a rental Villa next to 466A towards Fruitland Park and the noise was terrible. Especially when the unmuffled trucks went to and from work. Could not talk on the phone on the Lanai during work days. It was quiet weekends and after dark which the Turnpike will not be. But did not need an alarm clock to wake at 5 am during the week :1rotfl:
One or two rows of houses away and you could barely hear it which may be optimal for Deluna.
Also key to visit different times of day to listen in any area If noise sensitive.

Lots of construction noise.. Tape on a Sunday when there not working compare the two in order to present a fair comparison
