Thought this would be a cool parallel thread to have with the "I like Beer" one.
Not much of a drinker even of beer.
Prefer Coca-Cola to Pepsi but do Mountain Dew as the commercial goes-- Do the Dew. I skip the Brew.
Have not had any whiskey, vodka, brandy except for in something cooked with it since around 1983-1984 when I used to party with a group of graduate students at the University of Denver. We had a lot of spare time on our hands.

Diet Coke is the only soda I drink.

I like Pepsi better than coke. Personally, I feel P has more flavor, a bit less carbonation, and lays on my tummy better afterwards. I get Pepsi Zero-Zero calories, zero carbs and zero sugar.
I drink water, iced tea, and one beer or one wine or one Pepsi Zero daily.

When I was a child our teacher asked anyone losing a baby tooth to donate it. She put one in a glass of coke and it totally dissolved either overnight or in a couple or three days, I forget which. Coke is extremely acidic and requires a lot of sweetener to cover the acid. I have heard Diet Coke is more acidic than regular coke. In any case I still love the taste of coke but will not drink it if it contains corn sweetener. Last time I was there the coke in France still used true sugar and it was delicious.
I won't touch a diet soda. They can lead to obesity and cancer. Diet soda and cancer: What you should know | MD Anderson Cancer Center (https://www.mdanderson.org/publications/focused-on-health/does-diet-soda-cause-cancer.h19-1589046.html)

I can't believe I don't drink soda anymore. It actually turns my stomach just thinking about it. Maybe an occasional warm Ginger Ale when my stomach is very upset.
From mass quantities to one once in a while. I'll take it and it's a miracle.

We never had any soft drinks at home when I was growing up. My father had been a grocer most of his life and did not approve of them.
My first couple of years at college I drank a large coke every afternoon at the cafe in the Student Union Building. I guess the caffeine and sugar helped keep me going.
Then I took a part time job at a research lab at a local US Air Force base. One of the captains brought a six pack of coke to work every single day and drank it all! They were the large bottles of the time, 1962 - 1964. He was probably at least 25 at most maybe 28 years old, by far the fattest officer there and his face was covered with pimples. After this I gave up drinking more than an occasional coke.

I have heard that Coke and Pepsi stifle their potential competition by paying grocery stores huge amounts of money to reserve all of the available shelf space for soft drinks. I don't know if that is true or not.
By the way, when I worked in Saudi Arabia years ago, you could only buy Pepsi, no Coke. I think it had something to do with a Jewish connection to Coke.

I think Coke is an acquired taste, I remember my first (and only) drink when I was 7 years old... I was ready to go back to my native country. My hubby, however, loves the taste. Rum and coke. I prefer Napa wine myself.

I do usually have Diet Coca-Cola or Diet Mountain Dew. Cannot handle the sugar any more all that well in regular soda.

You better have Cheerwine as your favorite if you’re going to live in the south. I don’t drink pop much, but have to break down on occasion and have one.
