Someone that you would trust to do a root canal if necessary.

OP, you might call your HMO to see if there are any dentists in your plan. It appears that dental coverage seems to be a separate policy or coverage.

I believe Dr. Caylor Central Florida Oral Surgery, 1950 Laurel Manor DR, #174, 352-391-5550 does root canal, my wife and I have used this practice 3 or 4 times with excellent results.
