Have I missed anything said by the 2 candidates about what they would do if elected or, are they just using constant negative ads to tell us how rotten their opponents are? Regardless who wins the primary, the Democrat Candidate will have lots of ammunition after the Primary.

Can't we do better than this?

If you've missed it, so have I. So far, it's just a lot of finger-pointing. (As if we don't get enough of that at the federal level!)

in PA....abandon the party if it looks like you can't win.

That is the very fist big negative about him. He has no alternative but to bash....it is a time tested response for the un-accomplished!!!

From the Miama Herald : The Republican candidates for governor have agreed to two debates early next month.

Campaign staff for Bill McCollum and Rick Scott said Friday that the two will participate in a Univision debate in Miami on Aug. 2 that will air on the network on Aug. 7.

The other one will be in Tampa on Aug. 5 at the local Fox affiliate studio and will be aired live.

Scott, a former hospital executive who's spent around $20 million of his own fortune on his campaign, holds a lead in the polls over McCollum, who is the state attorney general and a former congressman.

The winner of the Aug. 24 primary will face presumptive Democratic nominee Alex Sink and independent Lawton "Bud" Chiles III in November.

[QUOTE=bkcunningham1;274319]From the Miama Herald : [I]The Republican candidates for governor have agreed to two debates early next month.

Will it be substance or just another re-hashing of their constant negative ads.

I remember when we lived in FL back in late 70's -early 80's and McCollum was running for Congress. All his ads back then were negative and lacked substance.
