Hello All, we are planning on moving to TV in the near future. Is the CDD Maintenance fee included in your annual tax bill or is it payed on a monthly basis, also how much of a increase can I expect on the second year of property taxes when purchasing a new home?

Hello All, we are planning on moving to TV in the near future. Is the CDD Maintenance fee included in your annual tax bill or is it payed on a monthly basis, also how much of a increase can I expect on the second year of property taxes when purchasing a new home?

CDD Maintenance Fee paid with your taxes annually. On property taxes I will use my home as an example. We closed January 2019 so we could not get the homestead exemption. So at closing we paid pro rated taxes for the remainder of 2019 without the homestead exemption of $50k. For 2020 taxes we applied for and received the homestead exemption. Even with the Sumter County tax increase my taxes went down because the home was valued at $50k less. So depending on when you move your taxes may decrease the second year because of your homestead exemption.

My 2011 masonry CYV maintenance fee is $450 once a year on a bill with taxes and bond. My bond is $1100 once a year.
