I am interested in reviews of Carts and Clubs in Ocala. I have researched new Yamaha Gas carts from both The Villages Carts and C & C. Pricing from C & C seems very competitive. However, I have some reservations due to distance from the Villages and after sales support and service. If anyone has experience with Carts and Clubs especially after sales support, I would appreciate your thoughts and inputs. BTW, my wife and I are new Villagers. Purchased our house in December with plans to relocate by mid-March. Thank you for your responses.

C &C have outstanding customer service. They come to your house and service the cart. Normally within a day. They are in TV alot because they sell so many carts here.

Have had 3 carts from them in last 10 years. I personally think their "customization" is of better quality than Villages. For example they use a custom fuse box and wiring harness for all the lights and things added, rather than cut and splice the existing wires. And, I personally like the construction of their enclosures better than others. My wife really likes the "easy snaps" which were used on her latest cart. As for service; we had a clutch assembly starting to go bad 2 months before warranty expiration. No problem for a free full replacement (plus a new drive belt free to "compensate" for our inconvenience) done on our driveway a day after calling them. I do all minor work and oil changes so have not regularly use their mobile truck services but several of our neighbors do and are pleased with service work performed, and done on a timely manner. If you ask they will take you on a tour of their assembly plant where you can see what work they do and how they really put the cars together.
Prices are about the same .

I purchased our cart from Carts & Clubs and would do it again. The pricing as the OP noted is about the same as The Villages (they both offer different types of discounts that basically get you to the same price point). C&C does service their carts right in your driveway and are very responsive. Very good service and sales staff. In fact, the owner's wife sat down with my wife for the color coordination in the sunbrella and seats.

I never had a problem with service or repairs from C&C. Always prompt and reliable. They come right to the house. I had a wire come loose and they were here the next morning.

Bought my car from C & C in Oct of 2018. Just had my 1,000 mile oil change and check. All done in my driveway. The Villages golf carts service dept. are very busy and most of the time you just can't drive up and get an appt. Check and see how far out it takes to get one with someone else. Prices will be about the same. I think I got all the features that I wanted at a good price. Also got a year of Kart Aid free and a grocery bag. See Peggy Edmondson.

Cart & Clubs service is outstanding. The only disadvantage is that if you need major service and they pick up your cart, you don't get a loner. But, most service is done at your home, so that is really an exception. Every tech we have had here has been terrific.

We had the same reservations and did not buy from them. I understand that Golf Cars of the Villages May decline to service your cart if you buy elsewhere.

I would call Joe Spadaro....252*775*1900...He can tell you anything you need to know about carts, costs, the best and worst. Mention me so he understands why you are calling him. (Bruce)

I purchased our new C&C cart in March of 2013. Nothing by quick efficient service. The Yamaha is so dependable I only do once a year service. When I call they come here within a week and sometimes within 3 days, even during the busy season.

Dont buy based on price alone. You may save money buying from other dealers, but Carts and Clubs has a great reputation, great service and adds things like the fuse box previously mentioned, extender handles for door zippers, heat and noise insulation in the seat area, a "dome light", etc. We have a 2016 and a 2018 from them and love them both. They also converted both carts into convertible 4 seaters (flip down rear seats) with heavier rear springs and a new rear enclosure.
Their service guys are great and do most of the maintenance in your driveway (the 4 seat conversions went back to their shop). I highly recommend them.

I bought my cart from carts and clubs in July of 2016. They come to you and do all the maintenance and service at your home. If and when I buy another one I plan on going back to carts and clubs.

Absolutely not true. I purchased elsewhere and have serviced with Villages carts in Brownwood. No problem at all.

Their service post sale is terrible, they couldn’t fix our cart and Todd Casey identified it less than 5 minutes & fixed it

Bought my new gas Yamaha cart at C & C November, 2017. They worked with me patiently to pick every aspect that I wanted for my cart. They have a huge selection of carts and options for carts. A lot of people have C&C carts in the Villages so service calls are routine. They went above and beyond when I decided I might like to have different wheels ( I originally picked out radials) on my cart. Brought the new wheels to my house put them on and let me try them out. I didn't like them so they gladly changed back to my original tires and wheels. Before I purchased, I went to Villages Carts and priced one with the same options. It was $600 higher and the sales person acted as if I didn't know what I wanted and acted like I was wasting his time.. I'd recommend C&V anytime.

I purchased my new cart from the Villages in 2012. I have about 14,000 miles on it and have had zero issues. I had it back for service once for add ons and got a loaner. Yes they are very busy during snow bird season. One thing I do not like about C&C is their enclosure does not wrap outside the cart basket. Therefore anything you put in that basket is outside your cart.

Beware of village golf carts in Brownwood We bought a new cart. (15k) and discovered major differential leak Only a day after we picked it up... First come First served they were not taking appointments is what we we’re told when we brought it back.. I was told the line starts at 7 am even for warranty work! Told service rep that it shouldn’t be driven with a leak like this and her response first come first served regardless!

We purchased a Yamaha gas cart from Carts & Clubs 10 years ago. The entire experience dealing with their sales and service departments has been top notch. I will use them again in the future.

When shopping for a Yamaha gas cart, also check with Villages Discount Golf Cars on 466 just a 1/2 mile east of Morse in the tan shopping center. My neighbor that I play golf with and I ride in his cart every other week, bought a one year old Yamaha for $9,000 loaded. Quite a savings over a brand new cart.

Bought my Yamaha golf cart 9 1/2 years ago. Have it serviced every 12-18 months, depending on usage. Great product with great service. many of my friends have purchased carts from Carts & Clubs and are very happy with the purchase.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else but C&C - for all the reasons stated above plus I’ve been to their location and had long conversations with the mechanics (so I could do it myself) for purposes of tricking out my cart. They spent lots of time showing “how to’s” on their carts so I could do it on my cart.
I doubt other businesses would do that.
Purchased August 2019 - LOVE my C&C yamie!!

Back in November 2015 after much research we purchased our brand new 2016 Yamaha EFI gas golf cart from Carts & Clubs. They provide great customer service and after sales support. BTW I am selling our golf cart which looks brand new for $7,300.
My husband passed last year and I will be moving out of the Villages to be closer to family. contact information: csdjsw@aol.com

Have you checked into “Village Discount Golf Car” 466 or the one on 441 just north of 42? Not “The Villages”, Village Discount.
My neighbor here in The Villages recommended them when we moved here 4 years ago. I am so glad they did.
Carts and Clubs I hear good things about, not so much with The Villages.
Their options and color choices are fantastic.
5 year warranty and they come to you for service.
Thinking about getting the new “Quietech” and it will be from Village Discount.
Check them out.

We purchased a cart from Carts & Clubs in Ocala about 12 years ago and the service was fine. They sent someone to our home at our expense. Eventually we went with a local company for service. A friend recommended him and asked us to help him start up his new business. We had no problem with Carts & Clubs. However, when it was time to get our last cart we went with Village Discount on CR 466 (between Morse Blvd. and 441/27). Carl Tuthill was our salesman and his price was great (lower than C&C)and so is their service. Their telephone is 633-8480. You are welcome to use our name (Henry Phinney).

We've bought 3 from C&C and with every purchase they have been awesome to work with. I do all the oil changes, but if anything else is needed, they are quick to come to the house.
My wife's 1st cart came from Village Discount Golf Carts. One day, as she was pulling into the driveway, the clutch on her Yamaha came apart. She called VDGC and the person there pretty much told her she didn't know what she was talking about. Now, my wife grew up with her dad and brother always working on machinery at their home, so she did know what she was talking about. VCGC came out - 4 DAYS LATER - and fixed it; the next day we put a for sale sign on it and sold it the next day.
VDGC will never get an endorsement from us.

Been in same situation and guess what? One answer following this question:
Who is going to give you ‘Service’ when needed? The Villages Yamaha
Anyone else will give you PROMISES... TRUST ME...not involved in the business

They will not service carts bought elsewhere. Period. We have bought from both. C&C makes appointment, comes to your home, for service. I like their enclosure better. When we need service on the Villages cart. You get to get up really early sit in line, and may or may not get in. Sometimes they will make an appointment, but you get find a needle in a haystack easier

We bought ours from a place in Webster. Big savings over the villages and Ocala. They are here twice a week if your cart needs service. Highly recommend.
