Does anyone know how to get a golf cart purchased in the main village area across 44 to the village of Fenney?

Try calling Kart Aide. For a fee, they might be able to help you. Many towing companies will do this. Kling Towing comes to mind. Good Luck!

If you or a friend have a hatch, rent a trailer from Home Depot or U-Haul for less than $30.00 (for 4 hours) and do it yourself.

If you purchase it from the Villages GC Store, they used to transport them below Hwy 44 for free. Even giving you two free pickup and return transport per year for service to their facility.

I’m surprised the golf cart store would not deliver it down there.

Sounds to me that it might be a private sale ......

Thank you for all who replied. I guess I did not explain myself completely. It would be a purchase from an individual and not one of the cart companies.I also know I can hire somebody and pay them to transport the golf cart. I am wondering if there is a road I can drive it across and not have to pay any cash.
Thanks

Unfortunately, no . You’ll have to have someone transport it for you.....

No, the first road you have to cross is route 44. You can't legally cross with a golf cart. With traffic that I've seen, I wouldn't want to try. Or take the chance and get caught.

You could wait until the bridges and trails are completed !!

You bought the cart, pay the money to get it home. Small potatoes in the scheme of things.

We contacted Village Kart Aide on 352 409 5853 to move our cart south when we moved house a couple of months ago. It cost us $60. It’s primarily an emergency service, but they’ll move carts around emergency calls.

I've had them since 2011, it's $60 for two years, and well worth it.

Bagboy, aren’t they asking if they can purchase a golf cart in Fenney or how they can get a purchased cart to Fenney? That’s the way I read it.

If you bought it from the dealer they’ll bring it, or they should. If you bought it from a private owner, well I’m afraid you’re on your own. Your comment was a little confusing. When you said you purchased a cart I didn’t know if you bought a new or used cart. So I’m assuming it’s a preowned cart, correct?

They asked how to get a cart that was purchased in the Villages north of 44 to Fenney area. Apparently without spending money to do it. Can't help them with that.

This isn't rocket science. The poster bought a cart from an individual in the established Villages area and he wants to take it the new areas south of 44. The options have been stated by many. Call a cart towing company, problem solved. Move on, there's nothing to see here.
