Growth Taking Over Lakes

Anyone from The Villages considering doing anything about the growth that is starting to take over the lakes and ponds throughout The Villages and the green junk on the water? Or do that let nature take care of it?

A lot of the growth is deliberate -- creating preserves for the birds. The Villages does take care of algae buildup, etc.
