Is St. Vincent Church mass open or closed today for masses?

My husband went to 4:00 Mass yesterday. Attendance was small. The priest did not give any indication they were going to start cancelling Mass.

Glad to hear that. Funny how insignificant the cloth wiping of the chalice is now that we have to sing two verses of happy birthday to wash our hands.

How about the basket. Is it like days of old I.E. on a stick or is it handled by everyone in the pew ?

Church is open . Yesterday’s mass had very low attendance. Collection baskets at entrance and in aisles, no passing between

Yep every month. I mimic the government - deficit spending. I do utilize the direct deposit feature to minimize germ spreading.

Ditto. Shame on St. Vincent de Paul church. We have to take responsibility of ourselves.

St. Vincent’s started last week with putting baskets at entrances.. no more passing from person to person.

The Long Island Diocese of Rockville Center has Canceled all Masses including Easter Masses because of the Virus.
