Had to leave Everglades Rec Pool today at 3pm due to Private Pool Party.

As we all pay Amenity Fees - how does this work?

Thanks

I think you better ask the Everglades facility manager. He/she won't mind explaining.

I just happened to read this online. I have no other info other than this though.

Sports Pool Rentals
Villages’ residents may rent the sports pools for private pool parties on Sunday afternoons. Please call 674-1800 for more information and to rent an approved sports pool.

CDC recommends not.

As far as I know there are no rules except our own (except being considerate of our neighbors) if my wife and I decide to have a private party in our pool. In fact, we have our own two person private party a couple nights a week.

I don't know you how do I know if I like you or not. I don't live in Orlando but I do live in The Villages.

Look in the Recreation News. Several sports pools are reserved after 3 on Sundays for parties.

The question was not about a privately owned pool .....re-read the first post .....

This is true. Seabreeze is one of the sports pools that do this. However, if the pool isn’t reserved that Sunday afternoon, it’s still available to anyone.

When I swam at Seabreeze, I found that it was very rarely used for a private party even though it was indicated on the Rec news pool schedule each week during part of the year. I don’t know how this works at Everglades.

So, my advice is to call the Rec center and ask. I doubt you’ll find a lot of private pool parties so don’t be discouraged.

Apparently some are not in a joking mood today? Trying to keep things light with all that is going on.

The Everglades pool is a Sports pool and can be reserved. Neighborhood pools are always available

The same way that you can rent a room in the rec center. Paying you amenity fees does not give you all access at all times.

You could have simply gone inside and asked someone. They would have expalined it to you.

Some people clearly don't get a joke when they read it :)
