With virus concerns, it seems unwise to have strangers going through houses. Lots of ads in this morning’s paper and there were open house flags flying on Sunday.

Life cannot come to a complete stop. Using common sense there is no reason not to continue with trying to make a living.

They are practicing social distancing. You must be 10 feet from the other person. If you went to the grocery in the last 10 days, you were more at risk than an open house

If I had my home on the market, I would insist on it to get it sold before the prices tank.

I think people can make that decision themselves. Someone stole all our open house signs on Sunday to stop the flow of viewers. Theft is theft no matter what you justify it as. Don't touch anything and use the hand sanitizer.
We had lots of patrons until the signs were stollen.

That may have been community watch, they have rules about open house, garage sale signs.

And they have ramped up enforcement of that this winter.

:ohdear: Actually it's your deed restrictions that have rules about signage. Everyone needs to read them. That may have been the problem in this case.
"Someone stole all our open house signs on Sunday to stop the flow of viewers." ..... that may be over thinking it a little. :1rotfl:

I had my for owner sale last year and every time I put out an open house sign on the corner of my street(with that neighbor's permission), the Watch people would take them. The truth is they have no right to take them. They were on county property and their taking them was just plain theft.

So what?! Most villagers are strangers to each other.

You probably put them where they are not allowed, the community trucks will pick them up.

Properties of the Villages Stopped Holding Open Houses
The advertising in today's Daily Sun states, "For a personal tour today call 352-753-4000." This appears in ads for both new and pre-owned.
