View Full Version : Changing diaper at the family pool

So my wife and I are sitting at Fenney grill having dinner a few days ago. We were at one of the outside tables (basically a screened in porch for those that haven't been there), watching family and kids having a good time at the adjacent family pool.

I see a Mom carry over a baby to one of the outside tables no more than 15 or 20 feet right in front of me on the other side of the screen... and proceeds to change the diaper in full view of everyone eating around us. My first thought was that she is unfamiliar with the restaurant and can't really see thru the screen. But then she balls up the used diaper and cleaning wipes and tosses them right onto the tabletop. She did not wipe down the table top afterwards. To say that I was shocked with what I saw would be an understatement.

So do I need to be more tolerant of mothers and babies in this situation, or should she have gone to the ladies room where there is a changing table?

I probably would have said something if it was an adult having a diaper changed!

I agree--I once changed my daughter's diaper in the MEN'S room FLOOR---no changing table at that time. We both survived

Of course a normal person would of done exactly that. However, you might not want to get confrontational with a person who is not rationale. Keep this phone number in your phone, that's what it's for, and there probably at least one on duty in the new areas all the time. Call Community Watch, it's their job 352-753-0550.

CORRECTION-------> Their job is to ride around in new vehicles and look busy. It's so easy, even a cave man could do it.:a040::1rotfl::1rotfl:
