Well, the inevitable finally happened as TB12 and the Patriots parted ways today. I guess all good things eventually come to an end. As an avid lifelong Pats fan I have nothing but praise for the GOAT and wish him the best in his future endeavors. Below is just a summary of some of the statistics the greatest quarterback and football player of all time put up during his 20 years with the Pats.

- Passed for 74,571 Yards
- Threw 541 touchdown passes to 77 different targets during the regular season
- Won a record 219 regular season games
- Threw 73 touchdown passes to 24 different targets during the post season
- Won three regular season MVP's
- Won 17 AFC East Titles
- He holds pretty much every post season quarterback record there is
- Won a record 30 Playoff Games
- Played in 9 Super Bowls
- Won 6 World Championships
- Won 4 Super Bowl MVP's

It has been my pleasure to watch the greatest ever play for my home team at such a high level for almost a third of my entire life. All by someone who was drafted in the 6th round as the 199th player taken in 2000.

Without a doubt...he's the GOAT! :bigbow:

It would be awesome to see him win one more Super Bowl at his next stop, just to shut up those whining sore losers all these years who say it was Belichick's "system"...that made Brady so successful.

Never been a Brady, or Patriots, fan...has mostly to do with Bellacheat's actions and Brady's attitude. He was a great player though...

Grew up in Boston so was a super PATs fan, then NYC and then 15 years in Tampa before moving here 16 years ago. We had club seats in the new BUCS stadium and went to their super bowl for their one great season. Watched all the bad QBs come and go including Winston.
Don’t care how Brady does., but welcome the greatest player to FL.
Will be excited to cheer him on. Now if we can only get a good offensive line to protect him, we may actually win.

Right, and when the Pats lost to the Eagles in the super bowl of 2017 Brady showed everyone his true colors when he couldn't even go over to any of the Eagles and congratulate them on their win. No, he went directly down to his own locker and sulked over that loss. He may be a winner on the football field, but he's a loser in life. And, to make matters worse, he already had many super bowl wins under his belt. What a showing of such poor sportsmanship.

For the first time in years, the Bucs will not have a serial shoplifter and sexual predator running the offense. As a bonus, Brady and Drew Brees will go head-to-head at least twice a year.

I'm just tickled that I'll actually see him play every Sunday. I'm been a life long Pats fan for 62 yrs as Massachusetts is where I was born and I still will be even though I no longer live there. Now though I can actually go to the stadium and watch him play all season long. WELCOME TO FLORIDA, WE'RE EXCITED TO HAVE YOU. Not since the Dolphins in the Don Shula era have we had a decent team to watch.

It will be interesting to see whether Belichick won all those rings with his coaching genius or Tom Brady with his athletic abilities. Brady went to the Bucs for 30M.

Assuming there is a football season.

As a Ravens fan since I was at their first game in Memorial Stadium in '96 and have never missed a game either on TV, in person or on the radio, I'm glad he is now in the NFC. I'm also happy because we can watch him play on TV and you won't need NFL Sunday Ticket, even though I've had the Ticket for the past 9 years. Also, since I grew up in St. Petersburg the Bucs are my second favorite team, if there is such a thing, and I'm glad they have him now on their team.

As an FSU fan, I'm somewhat sorry it didn't work out for Jameis Winston, although maybe the Jaguars will sign him to compete with Garden Mishew or even the Patriots might sign him since the two QB's on their roster now don't have much experience, and maybe they can coach him up.

I wonder how much Brady will have to pay Chris Godwin to get #12?

Out with the old in with the new, it's time to pack it up. It can't be the money. What are you trying to prove that you are the oldest man to get a concussion before retiring.

Well, he still trails Drew Brees in over fifty QB records, so maybe he wants to change that.

I'm sure The GOAT is dying of jealousy and would trade in the 5 more World Championship rings he has than Brees...to have a few more "QB records." :1rotfl:

A lot of records occur, when you're constantly slinging it out of pure desperation...trying to keep your season above .500. :D

Not tax free state, you paying same or more than some states, just round about way they get it. Sure it’s liberation from Northeast, Illinois, and California couple more.

I think Belichick will do alright. I remember 2008 when Brady tore his ACL the opening game, and Matt Cassle finished the season going 11-5. That was the first time an 11 win team didn't make the playoffs because both the Ravens and Dolphins finished 11-5 and knocked them out. The point is, Matt Cassle was an average QB at best when he left New England the following year in 2009 with the Chiefs he was 4-11.

Mel Kiper Jr., Football analyst

Draft 1999

Tom Brady, QB, Michigan (6-4¼, 211 pounds)
Overall: Fifth-round grade | Position rank: No. 10 quarterback

Smart, experienced big-game signal-caller, getting very high grades in the efficiency department this past season. Brady cut his interception total from '98 in half, tossing 20 TD passes compared to just six interceptions. He threw for 2,586 yards, completing an impressive 62.8% of his aerials. For his efforts, Brady was named team MVP. After working as Brian Griese's backup in '97, Brady went on to start 25 straight games with the Wolverines.

He's a straight dropback passer who stands tall in the pocket, doesn't show nervous feet, and does a nice job working through his progressions. He's not going to try to force the action, rarely trying to perform beyond his capability. He threw a TD pass in all 16 games he started against Big Ten opposition, while tossing 15 straight completions during the second half of action this past season against Michigan State. He's accurate, throws a very catchable ball, and also knows when to take a little off the pass.

This past season, Brady completed over 60% of his passes in eight games. The only time he was really off the mark was against Penn State, when he completed just 17 of 36 passes, tossing two TD strikes compared to three interceptions. At the pro level, his lack of mobility could surface as a problem, and it will be interesting to see how he fares when forced to take more chances down the field.

Sure, he doesn't have the total package of skills, but you have to be impressed with his level of performance this past season against Notre Dame (17-of-24), Wisconsin (17-of-27), Michigan State (30-of-41), Ohio State (17-of-27), and Alabama (34-of-46 for 369 yards and 4 TDs).

Combine note: Ran a 5.24 40-yard dash and had a 24½-inch vertical jump.
