Something not correct about your link. Had to copy & paste. Clicking on it just opened a new browser with this same page on it. (TOTV forum) Did you use the 'insert link' button, or just paste it in your post?

we just searched villages commercial property and a couple clicks and a few seconds later you get what you need
it would be nice to see the 'map' on an expandable version, but some navigation on bing or google maps does it
Anyone know why bird's eye maps stop at the village gates and boundaries?
Apparently they use low flying airships and TV apparently has restricted air space??
Those bird's eye views are amazing, and useful when looking at properties online, as are plain satellite aerial views
We've saved quite a bit of time by being able to see what the real estate people can hide with creative camera angles and perspectives.

That's gotta be factoring in the income of Gary et al.

Good one! I wonder what the source of this "average" is. You'd think retiree, and near-retiree, incomes would be all over the board.

Remember, the close-up of the aerial views and the bird's-eye views are, at a minimum, two years old or more. I don't know how often they update them. When I looked at some Florida properties 3 years ago, I saw a lot of 'Blue Roofs' due to hurricane damage from several years prior. (Temporary tarps) Check out some of the areas of new construction of TV where you know it's built up already in the last two years. Doesn't even have the infrastructure yet.

Actually, the built-up areas of TV at the time they took the pictures all have bird's-eye view available. It's only the areas that had nothing of interest, at that time, that don't have it. Long explanation short, Bird's-eye views are a patchwork of close-ups that take a lot of space on their servers. Only provided for areas of high interest or populated areas.

Don't knock Gary...those steel mills allowed us to live here! And I can't be the only person living in TV that was born there, could I?

Betcha there are a lot of Gary natives here. We can sing that song from Music Man right along with ya.
Gary Indiana, Gary Indiana, Gary Indiana...
Someone will remember the next line....

I'll have to check with Mrs Macro, she was in the band scene at the end of the movie. :undecided:
Must be spillover from the 'where were you born' thread. I believe the Gary referred to was Morse and how his salary raised the average income here. :jester: :p

Couldn't find a photo of macro's shorter half.
Gary, Indiana!
What a wonderful name,
Named for Elbert Gary of judiciary fame.
Gary, Indiana, as a Shakespeare would say,
Trips along softly on the tongue this way--
Gary, Indiana, Gary Indiana, Gary, Indiana,
Let me say it once again.
Gary, Indiana, Gary, Indiana, Gary, Indiana,
That's the town that "knew me when."
If you'd like to have a logical explanation
How I happened on this elegant syncopation,
I will say without a moment of hesitation
There is just one place
That can light my face.
Gary, Indiana,
Gary Indiana,
Not Louisiana, Paris, France, New York, or Rome, but--
Gary, Indiana,
Gary, Indiana,
Gary Indiana,
My home sweet home.
