View Full Version : The World's Fastest Indian
You must watch this movie from four or five years ago.
Anthony Hopkins leads.
It is kind of slow going in spots, but a lot of fun and warmth.

This movie was recommended to me. I was sure I would not like it, but I sure did.
What a great movie!

It was recommended highly by a manager at the Blockbuster here in the Villages. That movie and one about a man who takes a ride on a lawnchair tied to a bunch of balloons. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Deckchair
Wrong movie. He is not on a bunch of balloons.

have another cup , it's early
they said 'and another' about the balloons
Maybe there will be one about a lawn chair on a motorcycle or a motorcycle with balloons

My husband happened upon this movie while channel surfing one rainy Sunday a couple of years ago. We both enjoyed the movie. It is based on a true story. Age should never be a barrier to fulfilling your dreams.

As long as there is someone actually on the motorcycle with balloons. :throwtomatoes:
Isn't the motorcycle an Indian Racer?

It's a wonderful film. Definitely rent-worthy.
They had a premiere at our local independent movie theater in Salt Lake City with a shiny Indian Scout out front on the red carpet. It was pretty neat watching the movie with the Bonneville salt flats nearby.

I had a 1932 Indian Scout during my wild youth. It wasn't the fastest but it was fun. When winter came bike replaced by '34 Chevvy.
