Both of our boys would be going through withdrawal if the virus wasn’t keeping them working 60 plus hours.
I hope there will be something on when they come down, they stream something on their phones, something on their iPads, and both TVs, all at the same time.

Re-painted some of the dirty spots on the walls and now I am watching the paint dry : ( My sports world is crumbling, Tom Brady is gone, Mookie Betts is gone and Chris Sale is getting Tommy John Surgery, and Marcus Smart has COVID-19. WTF is going on? Seems like the perfect storm???? And no Masters, the world has officially been turned upside down!

Other than sports, we watch the ID (Investigation Discovery) channel the most, so recording more of those shows and watching, On the Case with Paul Zahn is my favorite. Some of the others I like right now are The Lake Erie Murders, The Man with the Van and My Murder Story. Some of my favorites last year were Breaking Homicide (retired detective reviews cold cases), The Interrogator (Houston detective gets 90% confessions without pressure) and Deadly Recall (Nashville detective with photgraphic memory recalls the crimes).

I added Epix Movie channels, 3 channels for $6 a month and they have lot films that HBO and others don't. I just watched A Quiet Place, and I have about dozen films recorded from Epix, Death Wish with Bruce Willis is next to watch. Even found an old movie I was looking for, After the Fox from '68 with Peter Sellers and Victor Mature.
https://gigaom.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/1/2011/08/epix-homepage.jpg
Also watching the reruns of games, on NFL Network I watched the SB between the Eagles and the Patriots, watch the Bucs beat the Rams yesterday, also on Golf Channel been watching the replay of the Valspar Tournament from two years ago when Tiger played but Paul Casey won. Also rented some from Red Box, which I hadn't done in several years. I rented Jo Jo Dancer, Judy and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, I liked them all. I even watched some of the NHL All-Star game replay, I'm missing hockey and golf the most right now.
We also over the years record all the House Hunters and my Lottery Dream Home on HGTV, so we are still watching them. David Bromstad of LDH parents live in TV and we saw him not too long ago eating out with them. He's a very colorful fellow and not hard to miss.

On Netflix I've been watching Dexter again. He always makes me laugh.
I liked Michael C. Hall even before Dexter during the six seasons he was on HBO's Six Feet Under. It's available on HBO on-demand, I've seen every one of the 63 episodes at least 4 times. He couldn't of been more different than Dexter. He played a gay undertaker living with a gay black man, who himself was an LA cop. Here's a photo from the show with his partner and his mother, she was played by Frances Conroy who played the Joker's mother in the recent movie. Six Feet Under was a fantastic drama.

Not watching much TV except news and weather. Miss sports big time but can't get myself to watch all the Patriots Super Bowl wins I have recorded because I am going through Tom Brady withdrawals. However, the yard never looked better, way ahead of where we usually are this time of the year. Lots of cleaning and organizing going on, and finally finished the taxes. Our dog is loving this whole thing, her humans are with her all day. Need to start finding more ways to work out at home. I will know I am starting to go stir crazy when I hope some weeds will grow in the garden so I will have something to do.

New Hulu series, DEVS...part thriller, part sci fi, with strong recurrent spiritual element. One chapter each Thursday.
1916. Documentary on Irish struggle for freedom. Never will you hear more articulate, clear and poetic explanation of history.
True crime series....old murders for, surprise surprise, reasons of sex and money.
Old and new movies/TV: The Furies, Days of Wine and Roses, Super 8, War Horse, Columbo, Bob Newhart, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Valhalla Murders, Outlander, The Man in the High Castle, A Shock to the System (how to get ahead through electricity!), The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (great...Richard Burton at his world weary best), Run Silent Run Deep (Clark Gable and Burt Lancaster on a sub), Ray Bradbury theater, Pandemic (free) or my personal favorite (you have to pay to rent) Contagion, with the Goop girl, Gwyneth Paltrow, bringing something back to America that everyone can get for free...and regret it.
There's also, on Netflix, Kate and Leopold (love story and time travel), Marriage Story (falling apart of one), The Great Raid (WWII true story of rescue), Mystic River (revenge, loss, sadness), True Grit ("fill your hands, you son of a ….."), Red Dawn ("Wolverines!!!), Tremors (Kevin Bacon, Reba with an automatic weapon), Snow Day (comedy!), Longmire (a sheriff you can count on), 21 (card counters and Vegas vigilance), Seinfeld special I'M telling YOU for the Last TIMe, Kodachrome (hard to love father on road trip with bitter son....stay till the end), Hostiles (best serious western since Unforgiven, good for folks who think they can't ever change), Medal of Honor (true heroism).
And oh, search around Netflix, Amazon, Hulu for old reruns of Match Game shows. Still funny after all these years!!

We had just connected to streaming ............... cannot believe how much there is to watch. I used to complain about the boob tube and now I am staying up too late watching so many great programs. Makes me wonder why the cable companies did not see streaming coming and get into the act from the beginning.
I watched an old Vera mystery last night, great TV programming, no in your face violence and no screaming and yelling. What a difference.
