products wrapped in that stiff plastic that require a box cutter to open. In my hands a box cutter is a dangerous weapon!

Do I ever agree with that one. That is my all time biggest pet peeve. Especially the ones where you have to bring out the heavy artillery to get them cut open.

My new latest pet peeve is the Tommy Hilfiger shirts where they sew in the anti-theft tags and you don't notice them until after the first or second washing and they start scratching until you can get home and cut them out.

If all the world was inhabitated with honest people we wouldn't have to suffer these irritants.

I've been known to ask the store to take it out of the container for me. Most stores will if you go to customer service after the purchase.

We've made a trip to the ER following a package/boxcutter incident.

One of my biggest irritants! I have a pair of high quality shears (I call them cooking shears - don't know if that's the right terminology but they are made to cut through bone and can be purchased at any good cooking utensil store). They work well on 90% of those #%@$ plastic packages. I'm thankful that I can music on-line and no longer need to buy CD's - those packages are the worst.
