With the typical 3 month winter leases ending today or tomorrow, are the snowbirds flying north yet? We were only able to make it down in February this year, so any on-site reports are appreciated.

A bunch flew north several weeks ago.....traffic on 75 was horrendous when Disney shut down. Our friends that rent here for the winter went north when they closed the pools and squares.

I'm sure a certain percentage have to go as they rented. Those who own their home may be reluctant to leave depending where their other home is.
Unfortunately, we probably won't know, as we are in a social distancing situation.
I am hoping it will be less crowded in the grocery stores, as everything else is closed.

On Sunday there was miles that you didn’t see a car going north on I75. Monday far amount of traffic, but moving at 70 plus.

Our northern home city is in lockdown, and it’s predicted to get much worse. We usually head out in early May, but we may need to postpone, especially with reports of a lot of closed rest stops.
Oh, the irony of cheap gas and nowhere to go.

And now we understand the law of supply and demand! "If desire for goods increases while its availability decreases, its price rises. On the other hand, if availability of the good increases and the desire for it decreases, the price comes down."
