I agree completely. Nobody’s talking yet about the fallout that’s bound to happen from being cooped up - suicides, breakdowns, domestic abuse, assaults, etc. I think it’s inevitable unless we can find a way to prevent it in the first place.

Anyone that thinks this can not happen in the US is delusional. Desperate people do desperate things. Praying we fare better, but when people are hungry, they are desperate. And just think back to the number of times we have seen looting/rioting during hurricanes and natural disasters already here in the US, and those were regional issues. We are now talking national/global. BE PREPARED and you will be ok. Unprepared will be wishing they considered the unthinkable if enough Law Enforcement become ill with this that they can not contain those who are desperate.

Dont understand all thats going on with the Covid-19 and people still calling for service calls because their refrigerator is making too much noise, their dishwasher is not drying properly, their washer is making noise, refrigerator a light is out, all this crazy nonesense. Do you really want a technician that has been to 10 different homes not only in the Villages but all over in your home. By the way any parts going into your appliances is coming most likely from CHINA to include the box. The only service call should be a no cool refrigerator if any..::

After September 11 we truly came together as a nation. We need to do this now. This is not the fault of “nautherners”. What this is, is a horrible tragedy going on in our country right now. We are not southerners, northerners, east, west; we are Americans. We need to support each other no matter where we come from. This is a terrible time in our country that won’t get any better by finger pointing and blaming. Many are putting their own lives on the line to help others. Let’s take there example and act like who we were created to be. God bless America and may He have mercy on us and one the whole world. Sorry if that offends anyone, this post is not meant to offend but to unite.

P.S. If you don’t need your stimulus check instead of bragging how well off you are try going to a few of the businesses you frequented before this. Give them a donation. I’m sure they are hurting. Many small businesses will not even be able to open again. Don’t be selfish, be generous and I’m sure you will be paid back in many ways.

Unless the box/parts came from China 3 days ago I can see the concern. 3 days is the lifespan of this virus on cardboard, up to 9 days on stainless, etc.

Of what value is it to play the blame game now ? If aliens were invading the planet tomorrow with a force larger than any country could defend we the human race would find a way to unite against a common enemy. If it was on purpose or an accident, that is now passed, and after this is over the survivors can examine it more thoroughly. The big issue on this day.. is not how it started but that it is here. We need to deal with that reality now and examine who, if anyone is at fault later. I cannot believe that anyone would endanger the whole human race and especially the carnage that China has had, the deaths they won't admit to. The coffins and urns that have been used. Yes, I agree that's the hardest part for people to get their arms around. It totally violates our Judeo-Christian norms. But the CCP is an amoral secular, authoritarian dictatorship. It's all about power and money. Plus, if you look at Chinese history, a few thousand or even million casualties are literally a drop in the bucket. Mao was responsible for40-80M deaths which was justified as needed to attain the new Utopian paradise on earth vs in heaven as it were.

Actually pictures of congregants are helpful ... took a walk tonite and about 25-30 people were in two different driveway parties. Some were socially distanced ... others (about 1/3) were not.

We all have a right to do stupid things, but not if it endangers others. Some exercise that right much more than others.

If they're too cavalier and they all catch Corona (highly unlikely) and perish, then Darwin's theory of Natural Selection has, once again, come to play - what do you care … not your concern. :shrug:

Fred. I agree a lot of people like to preach at others what they already know. But I too will do it anyway, and believe me, I too have thought of natural selection a time or two.....until it reached the part about the weak and old....

Anyway. Because anyone who is so dumb to catch it by being careless, endangers a whole lot of other people who are trying not to catch it and protect the people that they like. Not to be too technical, but natural selection does not come into play here, since just about everyone is beyond reproductive age. "Stupid is as stupid does" probably fits better.
