SUN 'n FUN cancelled for 2020

Last summer during the Oshkosh fly in, I purchased several tickets to SUN ‘n FUN which takes place in April at the Lakeland airport. Thoughts about a coronavirus pandemic taking place in 2020 were not considered. In March, they postpone the event till mid-May. It has just been announced that there will not be a SUN ‘n FUN event in 2020.

Will the huge 2020 EAA AIrVenture be held in Oshkosh this July 20-26th? I place the chances at 50/50. Why are golfers allowed to play but I can’t attend these air events that I have attended for over 50 years?

Just kidding golfers as we pilots in particular try to always be safety conscious.

Prudent thing to do.......even if they hold Oshkosh this year will most likely pass. Too many folks, no way to social distance and lots of international attendees.
