After watching the British Open. I had a thought for the coming winter, when all of the Brits arrive to make them feel at home. Why not take one of the cow pastures and put 18 flags in the ground. Call it St Andrews Annex. Just don't know how to change the weather to make it cold, windy, and rainy, most of the time. Charge a lot of money, fly different flags around the pasture, sell fish and chips, etc

If the weather is like last winter, they might feel at home?

But you'd have to find caddies that are difficult to understand and hope for gale force winds and endless rain.

AND a lot of us Yanks aren't overweight and we don't wear "trainers" all the time.:1rotfl:

I know that everyone I know loves our British cousins and loves to have them here in the colonies.:MOJE_whot:

In fact we have just returned from spending a wonderful month in the T V.
AND we were made to feel most welcome by everyone we had the pleasure of meeting

Honestly I did not see that many trainers!

Nearly every restaurant did serve fish & chips, which I really dont understand! Why spoil great fish by deep frying it?

As for overweight folks, you should take a walk round my town on any Saturday afternoon and see the kids!! I really dont know what has happened. Dont these kids understand 'slow' good food?
