Tonight at 8:30 (4/12/2020) while walking my dog on Tally Ridge near the 1st hole of Stirrup Cup at Glenview CC I noticed what appeared to be a small Bobcat watching us. He was low in the grass and appeared to be sizing us up. I’d say he was about 12-15 pounds. Tried to take a picture but it was dark. Not 100% sure but be careful!

We see bobcats in our back yard all the time. We abut a wildlife preserve and they hang out on top of the fence at the preserve boundary. They like the view from the top of the fence, it’s a good vantage point for their hunting. The cats can see small critters roaming below and pounce on them for a quick snack. Fun to watch.

Excluding human intervention more prey means more predators.

The animals have noticed less human activity, and around the world people are noticing that animals are venturing into human areas more recently.
