Just ordered hand sanitizer online from greengoo.com. $1.99 for 1 oz.
Green Goo Hand Sanitizer 1oz Squeeze Tube (https://greengoo.com/collections/hand-sanitizer/products/hand-sanitizer-squeeze-tube)
First time I’ve ordered from them. Don’t know what product will be like.
I also made some myself, but hard to find rubbing alcohol these days.

There was a shipment of a case of hand sanitizer last week at Publix, it was on the shelves when I came in to work around mid-day, and was mostly all still there when I punched in for my shift around 15 minutes later. It was $5.99 for 8 ounces, made by a company called artnaturals. Unscented, 62% ethyl alcohol with aloe, hemp seed, broccoli extract, and a bunch of other weird things that make me wonder why they'd put that stuff in there, but it's all harmless so who really cares.
It's plant-based, and has vitamin E and jojoba so less damaging to your skin than Purell, at least.
I don't know how often those shipments come in since I work mid-day and the shelves are -usually- empty by then. But it's something to consider. They're not impossible to find, just has to be a matter of timing.

Thanks. It was just easier to order. My husband is in charge of in-person shopping these days, and he goes when he’s ready.

Does anyone know how I can buy a face mask? I have almost no food and need to go to the store. I was able to get gloves, but I will not buy face masks made in China.

You can make a facemask with a tee shirt. You only need a scissors, no other tools or materials needed. Cut around 6 inches off the bottom. Take that cut piece, and cut into the sides around an inch from the top, and one from the bottom, a little more than halfway through.
Snip those strips you just cut at the top and bottom.
Now cover your face with the unsnipped bit, and use the snipped ends to tie over your head and around your neck.
That's it.

I am having the same problem. I ordered 4 masks from a company that works from the U.S. and it was suppose to be here in 6 days (not the best but I have none). Ordered on the 4th and still not here. I received an email on the 13th stating they were shipped and should arrive in 4-7 BUSINESS days. Totally ridiculous!!! People tell me to make them, it's easy! I don't sew. These are probably the same people who don't COOK... at least I do cook! . I love how all of the sudden they tell us to wear a mask and there are none around to buy! Makes my head spin

Again: no sewing skill necessary. You ONLY NEED A TEE SHIRT AND A SCISSORS. That is all. Nothing else.

The Gilded Matilda in Wildwood sells them....google them for phone # as they're closed but if you leave a message she'll call you back and make arrangements. If you belong to NextDoor...put it out on that too as some people are making them.

I called Home Depot, they said any face masks they get in go directly to the local hospitals.

Make your own, very simple 30 seconds or less.
A clean handkerchief and 2 rubber bands. Fold the handkerchief 2 times slip the rubber bands on each side.
Presto.:)

Double layer 100% quilters cotton is recommended for home made masks. Knit fabrics are not as effective. They don’t have a close enough weave. Better than nothing though.

Thanks! Just ordered some. It was easy and they take PayPal. I ordered some from PulseTV but when it arrived it had a 2011 expiration date on it. I looked it up and the expiration date on hand sanitizer is the date at which the active ingredient will likely fall below 90% effectiveness. That stuff was 9 years old so I doubt it was much good at all.

If this is the same product (Artnaturals Alcohol Based Hand Sanitizer Gel) sold on AMZ (I do believe it is) not sure this is the best santizer to buy."Please be cautious as alcohol is listed as the 4th ingredient so it is at least below 50%. Purell has alcohol as 1st ingredient and it around 70% alcohol.
Also, instructions say to thoroughly wash your hands before applying this product. I don't think you can rely on this product to protect you as a substitute for soap and water."

I got mine yesterday in the "travel" section at Walmart on 466. It finally dawned on me to look there
hope this helps everyone

I don’t believe green goo contains any alcohol. It says it’s effective against germs, but says nothing about viruses.
