We just got back from a lovely evening on Sumter Landing. We couldn't help but notice that someone took it upon themselves to remove our President Obama sticker from our car. I hope you needed it more than we did. That's ok, we'll get a new one.

Or mine, that says, "If you don't like my driving, get the hell of the sidewalk!"

Just kidding. I saw that bumper sticker once though and laughed so hard I almost ran up onto the sidewalk!

What was it, a magnetic bumper sticker instead of the stick-on kind?

They must have worked hard to get it off. Hope they worked up a sweat.

last fall when I was still living in Ny, my magnetic Obama sticker lasted about 4 hours.

I would be very, very upset. My mother taught me not to touch something that doesn't belong to me and to respect other peoples things. That is why I asked earlier if it was a magnet. Stealing is stealing. But I can't imagine having the nerve to scrap off a bumper sticker (vandalism) from someone's car. To be honest, I don't appreciate it when I'm in a parking lot and someone puts a flyer under my windshield wiper blade. Not that it is a big deal, but you aren't suppose to touch somebody's car. Right?

Maybe it's just a new redistribution of bumper sticker policy.

I would think that it was someone from the new health care department, they will blame Bush.

Actually I saw the guy do it , When I confronted him , he admitted the he was a democratic campaign worker and they realize what a terrible mistake they made (putting on bumper stickers) and are trying to make amends..

great fumar (as in we do our part )

ps I asked if another one could be had and he said NEVER AGAIN !!!!

You are in Republican land, I doubt it was taken by someone who wanted it!

If I had an Obama sticker on my car and I couldn't get the sticker off.
I'd go buy a new car WITHOUT A STICKER:beer3::beer3:

An apple from the neighbors tree or another mans dog. A thief is a thief and should not be made into a joke. If you laugh and tolerate this, some weak individuals will move on to bigger and more violent things.

Some things should not be made OK.
A bumper sticker is only about 3 to 4 dollars, but the personal violation felt by a victim is not measured in dollars.

While I may not have the same political views, I support your right to display whatever you want on your car. I'd be upset too if someone took something from my car. Personally though, I would be terribly upset if ANYONE put a sticker on my bumper. I've seen lots that have a cute message, but I just would not want one on my car. Whenever we buy a new car, I even have the dealer remove the name badge that is usually applied on the rear.

I have the same feelings about those stickers. I went to a Theme park once and when I came back they had put some stickers on my car. I was a bit ticked off and made them remove them.
I will let the dealer give me one of those license plate holders with his advertising on it but no sticker.

I wish they only took my sticker off.

The hateful people who couldn't get my anti-Obama sticker off decided to "key" the side of my vehicle. Should cost me many hundreds of dollars.:swear:

They put the license surround thingies on our car too. As soon as I got home I removed them. It's not that I am unhappy with the dealer, it's just that I don't want their name plastered on MY car. I'm happy to tell anyone where I purchased it and always take it for service.

That is both theft and vandalism. Shamefully, childish, criminal.:rant-rave:

I just can't imagine someone doing this weather you had a Pro or Anti Obama sticker. These people should be prosecuted.

Where I grew up if you got caught messing with someone's car you might as well have kicked over a Hells Angels motorcycle.
