Did anyone hear about Texas Roadhouse getting BILLIONs of dollars of PPP funds.

I heard this, but can not find any facts to support.
The person stating this referenced The Wall Street Journal.
I searched on their site and found zip.

I heard of a few public companies getting PPP dollars, some gave the dollars back.
The largest I heard was $20mil..........NOT BILLIONs of dollars.

Doesn't sniff.

(I'm waiting for my hair cut in a couple weeks to get the facts)

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Calculator (https://www.sba.com/funding-a-business/government-small-business-loans/ppp/loan-calculator/)

Easily answered...with a simple search.

Estimated Maximum PPP Loan Amount

Your maximum PPP loan amount will be 2.5 times your average monthly payroll costs, up to $10 million. You can only receive one PPP loan, so if you apply for a PPP loan you may consider applying for the maximum amount you are eligible for.

Further searching says there are about 70 franchise locations, out of +-560 total restaurants, so it's possible if each franchise received a PPP LOAN, the total could exceed the $10M...but no way would it ever reach a 'Billion.'

Liberate Google...and the truth/facts.

so relax...it was fake news and you got sucked in

go online and buy a hair cutting kit for 20 bucks and a hand held mirror... you're old and you don't have a lot of hair at your age anyway....so who are you trying to impress

leave that to the women...they all wanna spend north of $125 bucks a month to
look like they married guys 20 years older than them...LOL and how's that working for them....okay they feel good, so it's worth it

:bigbow::bigbow::bigbow:

I get all that, unrelated to my question. I don't believe what the guys said, just checking if anyone else heard about Texas Roadhouse.

FYI: Franchisees can get funds, but they are independent small business owners so TRH would not receive the funds.

Good News..................I did not get sucked in.

I've been debating with this guy, just want to see if anyone else heard.

I have tons of hair.
I already cut my hair at home.

I'm not that old.

I'm always trying to impress everyone.
