LG smart TV + 4TB Seagate USB = loss

Plugged backup hard drive into new LG tv to play videos. Worked fine for a few days.

Now - backup drive files are unreadable on the tv and on computer. Folders are still showing but properties for the folders shows 0 data. Properties for the backup show there is 2TB of data present.... but can’t view.

Does anyone know of a store or Villager who may be able to recover the backup data?

Let’s dig deep for some extra willpower and forgo the commentary on redundant backup sources.

Try running chkdsk on the backup drive.

I would try Gizmo Depot, 352-641-0435, on Rt 441. They seem to be very good at computer issues.
