championship golf course south of turnpike

Why can't we get at least 1 championship golf course on the south side of the turnpike? It will be sometime next year before the bridge is finished by Water Lily to even cross over. Years ago they built course before all the houses were built, but now that has changed. Only exec courses have been built out here for us southern folks.

Bummer, only 18 holes suc$s. Just another example of Championship golf no longer being a priority to sell homes. The last time an 18 only hole Championship golf course was built in the Villages was Tierra Del Sol. That was a very long time ago, when we were still in the 19 hundreds.

There are only two good things about an 18 hole only Championship golf course in the Villages. The first is that it is better than no Championship golf course, and second is that there are straight T-times, so starting times are available during my favorite time of the day to play, between 9:30 A.M. and Noon.
