TRIED to go to gym this morning. not open yet. I need my gym. Questions I keep pondering are
How can they open safely as they are small gyms
Will they hire people to sanitize often?
Will it be every other treadmill?
We should have membership extended due to time lost as we Pay for gym ahead of time
This is my only way of staying in shape so REALLY need gym. Too hot to walk outside and need machines for bone health
Anyone else anxiously awaiting??

Thank you for answering.
and if you go to the other side of the pavilion you will find pullup bars, pushup bars and plenty, plenty more.... You can get a good workout if you push yourself to your own comfort level...just go early due to the heat.

My topic was the villages gyms. Who else is missing? Outdoor equipment I'm not interested in living in a hot and humid state. Where are my gym rats? How can we get them open again safely?

My husband trims all the trees and bushes around our home and puts the branches in those big paper bags they sell for that purpose. I scrub the tile with a sponge mop and soapy water and then rinse it with clear and dry it by "walking" around on old towels. Surprising how much exercise that is for eighty year olds.

A gym rat is also a person who in situations where he can’t access a gym will find another way of exercising. You say you need the gym for health problems. , but if you have done nothing all these weeks you’ve made things worse .In the course of a very very physical life around the world , I have broken just about everything , I’ve had doctors offer me pain medicine I couldn’t drive with , but I’m lucky if I take 2 Aleve every couple of weeks , I’m a gym rat also but I subscribe to the slogan use it or lose it , and start with a little walk outside many people who have started during this time of the virus have found that they like it , just turn your AC up from freezing and acclimate yourself you’ll enjoy fl more

The chair Pilates program that is being promoted looks pretty good. I have a personal set of exercises from my physical therapist because I fell and broke a small bone in my back five months ago and still can’t walk without a walker. Slowly getting strength back

The fitness centers opened today. Just found out, our gym memberships have automatically been extended 3 months. Bravo to TPTB who made that decision.

My neighbor said he went to Colony Cottage gym yesterday and he was the only one in the place. The Daily Sun had photo of a fellow on treadmill at Colony, and same thing, he was the only one in the photo.
I'm wondering how MVP Brownwood is doing, I didn't go yesterday. Been a member six years as of May, but the new rules are really strict. For one, they will be closed from 10am to 11am, that's when I normally arrive, 10am, that's going to require me to rearrange my whole morning. Besides, my wife's Zumba class is not listed at all on their new revised schedule, so she has no interest in going either.
This is on the Daily Sun website, that couple is there every morning, so that's no surprise. Does look a little sparse, which is good.
