Welcome APVincent!
I hope you enjoy the site.
When I first joined TOTV, I didn't know about the search button at the top (blue line). I found it invaluable in researching issues, getting names of good tradespeople, etc. I still use it a lot.

Hi APV.
I use the 'new posts' button at the top more than anything.
Then when I post on a thread I use the 'UserCP' to see posts in those threads (you can also subscribe to a thread without posting).
Don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Welcome to the Talk of the Villages (TOTV). APVincent. It gets easier to post and ask questions the more you try. Like everyone else said, don't be intimidated...ask questions. Nice bunch of folks on this forum. Lots of information and opinions to glean from.

This is a super site full of information about TV. Husband and I are new residents (Buttonwood) and I used the site to learn about our new home before we actually made the move from VA. We feel as though we are on permanent vacation, or "Cruise on Land". Welcome

We have learned a lot. We also learned to turn off any political negative stuff, it just makes our little slice of heaven, not so heavenly. We really all don't think the same way so just enjoy your life here. Welcome to TV. Our motto is: There are no strangers, only friends we haven't met.

My welcome to TOTV. I am a rather "newbie" myself, having arrived in mid-May. My house and all associated with it and TV would not be where it is, or what it is, had it not been for the wonderful help, ideas, suggestions and comments that flowed from this site. A couple trips to TOTV a day is my usual and I agree wholeheartedly with the two comments above about "Search" and the "New Posts" - they make it all work. Again, welcome !

Hi! I am a newbie too, just happened to find this site today while doing a search for something. Moved to Buttonwood (Kincord Ct) about a month ago. Have enjoyed just browsing the posts all afternoon.

I found it late last year and hardly a day goes by when I don't at least check to see what topics are being discussed. This site is the best source of unbiased information about the villages (and many other topics) imaginable. Thanks, Talk Host and Tony!
