In a milestone moment in the race for a coronavirus vaccine, the first results in humans showed Moderna's vaccine candidate led to antibody responses in a handful of healthy volunteers.
The trial was conducted by the US National Institutes of Health. Moderna is planning to soon start a mid-stage study and then begin a late-stage trial in July. The company hopes its vaccine could be ready for emergency use this fall, a timeline with no precedent in the history of vaccine development.
This trial enrolled 45 healthy volunteers to start, ages 18 to 55 years old, and randomly gave one of three dose strengths for two shots: 25 micrograms, 100 micrograms, and 250 micrograms. All participants developed detectable antibodies, and Moderna said there were "dose dependent increases in immunogenicity" across the three potencies.
After receiving both doses, the 15 volunteers at the weakest dose strength also had antibodies in their blood at similar levels as people who recovered from COVID-19.

Article also says they may have this ready for emergency use by this fall, but probably not sufficient quantities for all until next year.

As the conversation with himself continued into the next day, Goodlife was so shocked about the recent Moderna news that he failed to update his audience. Vaccine researchers are questioning Moderna's trial results and the stock market fell just shy of 400 pts.

So sorry, was playing golf.
Most of the expert's quibbles were explained in article I posted and the link to the press release by Moderna contained in the article.
It's a press release, not a published study.
When you have 100 vaccines companies fighting for a multibillion dollar market, there will be lots of quibbling. Stock market goes up and down every day, not my job to update that every day.
Anyway, now that you have turned this into a bad news story, it will probably sell!

If you bothered to read the article in Forbes and the article in Stat News it's based on you would know Moderna has not published "trial results" yet, just a press release saying it looks promising.
The two experts they interviewed for those articles basically said we need all the data published before knowing if this is truly a breakthrough. Moderna says they will publish all the data when the study is completed.
Final quote from one of the experts:
“I would like to see the data to make my own interpretation of the data. But I think it is at least encouraging that we’ve seen immune responses with this RNA vaccine that we haven’t seen with previous RNA vaccines for other pathogens. Whether it’s going to be enough, we don’t know,” Durbin said.
PS I wonder if this had something to do with stock market dropping yesterday.
The Congressional Budget Office also released a bleak outlook on economic growth and unemployment, predicting a 38% drop in second-quarter GDP as 26 million Americans remain without a job.
