We are planning a second visit on the Lifestyle program in September to order our home. I have talked with others who used this program for a second time also. They were able to get all that one gets on a first visit which included food vouchers. I was told that I would get everything except the vouchers for food on a second visit.
What is the experience of others who came back for a second visit to order their home?
I was disappointed that they were not adding the food vouchers.

On our 2nd visit 10/09 we were suprised that food wasn't included. A golf cart and two bicycles were included on our 2nd visit when they weren't on the 1st. A disappointment but not a deal breaker.

Yes, that was our experience on the second as well, everything except the food, though there were some discounts I believe. We just used the set-up to commence our evaluation of "off-Villages" and other eating establishments, which continues, and continues as recent as tonight. The addition of the golf cart and bicycles was neat also. Good luck on your quest and keep TOTV by your side.

No free restaurants the 2nd visit. The Kool Aid is still free.

Maybe they changed it last year sometime. On our 2nd visit in March of 2009 we got meals, golf and all the perks. It wasn't as lavish as our first Lifestyle visit but it was still good.
When I returned in December of 2009 to finalize everything and sign the paperwork I stayed in a Creekside Villa with a golf cart and bikes but no other perks.

We were there in July for our 2nd lifestyle, we received the cards. There were discounts at restaurants, Red Sauce 10 % off. Urban Flats, a free appetizer, free movie, free bucket of balls. So some, but no country clubs, like the first time. We were at Creekside, got the Golf Cart and the Bikes.
We were pleased, as soon as our home in MA sells, we will be in the Villages.
Enjoy your visit, and Good Luck with your plans.

We took the preview in April of this year for the first time. I asked the realtor that I was working with about the discrepancy some people were reporting regarding a 2nd visit. He said the policy changes from time to time, even in the same year, based on market conditions, time of year, amount of people signing up for the preview etc. So, everybody's experience could be a little different when they want to do the preview more than once.

That's what we are doing next week. I think that is standard when you come to finalize.

I did the second lifestyle visit as well and same was true. No food vouchers. Each time you do a repeat visit there are certain benefits that drop off. I would think the more you visit the more they would to provide since you are showing sincere interest in investing in a home/property at TV. However, I guess there are some who just repeat visit to get freebies - it is a good deal. Well, for me, I am working on an upcoming third visit and hopefully the last as a visitor with the next as a homeowner :-)

We got a call from TV asking if we wanted a second visit. We accepted last March and meals were part of the deal as well as the cart and bikes. Great time. Have fun.

Russ, not always. They would not allow us to stay in the Villas, we had to stay at the Waterfront. Thought that was really bad, when I hear of others who have done LSVs many times and here we were buying/closing.
I agree we only needed one visit to know TV was the place for us.

Interesting. I wonder if it was just a temporary promotion. We had our 1st lifestyle visit last December. It was very first class and we had a great time and learned alot.
We are almost 100% sure we want to retire there but we still need more time to pick the right location and style of home.
Perhaps one more lifestyle visit would be in order?

If anyone posting on this forum wanting to take a 2nd or 3rd LS visit to TV and then decide they want to build or don't yet know which village they would like to buy in, I have an unfurnished 2 bedroom courtyard villa with a pool waiting for a long term lease. Send me a private message for details. Then just pack your stuff, move in, and stay as long as you like until your home is ready.
