New resident to Marsh Bend, closed end of April. Set up utilities to include service with Leesburg Gas. Received letter last week from TECO Peoples Gas stating my account was being transitioned to them from Leesburg effective 1 June. First I heard of this. Called Leesburg Gas and they confirmed that several thousand current customers are being transferred. Two items to note of you are also a customer being transferred:
1) TECO will collect a $50 deposit (included in first bill) unless you contact them to get the deposit waived (credit check).
2) If you established an automatic payment mechanism with Leesburg (like I did) it does not transfer with your account to TECO. You have to reestablish that with TECO either over the phone or online when your account becomes effective.

Like I said, this was news to me; hopefully it is not news to you if you are also being transitioned between gas companies.

Wow I’ve been in Fenney 2 years and we’ve always had TECO there must have been some invisible boundary

There was some legal stuff going on. Peoples Gas won.

TECO will also waive the fee sans credit check if you had recent service with them before.

Years ago the Mets made a trade for a player to be named later and later on he was given back to his old club making him a player traded for himself:a040:
