Garage Floor Epoxy Clear Coat Peeling

We had Tim Miller who comes highly recommended epoxy our garage floor eight years ago when we moved here. Our clear coat started to peel and I am having it repaired, Tim Miller recommended Incredible Coatings who is doing a great job. Has anybody else had this issue with there clear coat peeling? The peeling started at the entrance to the garage. We are having the first two sections of the floor redone and the cost is $1200.00

Yes. Ours was originally done 12 years ago. The section near the overhead door had to be redone a few years later. Now it needs to be redone again. It faces SW and the sunlight degrades it if the door is open for any length of time.

Yes we had incredible coatings last fall and still have peeling issues.

The peeling started where the tires entered the garage, no peeling anywhere else. I believe it was caused was due to the lip at the entrance to the garage and the tires hitting the same spot the coating wore thin. Water got underneath the polyurethane and that caused the peeling.
