call Sears...they send folks out quickly and repair all makes/models

I would first recommend Fields Appliance, 407-299-2040. They are in Orlando, but they come to The Villages several times per week. You may also try Becks, 352-245-3598, or Bobs, 352-897-1002.

I've used Beck's before and found Rick to be conscientious and trustworthy, with fair pricing.

Unfortunately, Rick passed away a while back. But, his wife is still running the business with another technician. He fixed my dryer, but, for a refrig, I would probably call Fields.

Regarding Fields Appliance Repair: that is the company that KitchenAid wants to send. However, Fields has many very bad reviews on Facebook and Yelp. An overwhelming number of reviews are bad on both of those forums.
I am aware that many online reviews are phony but, in the case of Fields there are a lot.

After seeing the reviews, I agree. But, if the refrigerator in still under warranty, they may be your only choice. I had good results with Fields for warranty work. I also recommended them to a friend and they did a good job. But, I have also had good experiences with Beck's. Good luck.
