I would of said noon, I never use am or pm when referring to the middle of the day. Keeps simpler.

The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language states "By convention, 12 AM denotes midnight and 12 PM denotes noon. Because of the potential for confusion, it is advisable to use 12 noon and 12 midnight."
or
Is noon 12 am or 12 pm?
To avoid confusion, the correct way to express 12 o'clock is 12 noon or 12 midnight.
Alternatively, the 24-hour clock system may be used - 12:00 and 24:00 (or 00:00) respectively.
The abbreviation am stands for ante-meridiem (before the Sun has crossed the meridian line) and pm stands for post-meridiem (after the Sun has crossed the meridian line).
At 12 noon, the Sun is at its highest point in the sky and directly over the meridian. It is therefore neither 'ante' (am) nor 'post' (pm).

12pm
I’d leave Monday at 11:45pm
This is not at all confusing.
However, if you’re asked to pick them up on Tuesday 12am. However, if it’s already 11:45am on Tuesday, you’ve left them at the airport.

I would definitely ask them if they mean midnight. I have found that some people do believe that 12:00am means noon. I wouldn’t take a chance of leaving my house so late at night, just to find out I am 12 hours early.

- it's 12pm
- second question....doesn't matter what time of day it would be....I don't do pickups at the airport....I'd have them take a taxi

12 noon or 12 midnight. It doesn’t make sense to say 12pm or 12am

Thank you Sir for the education, I didn’t know the definition. I love trivia and now understand AM/PM. Now I will say noon or midnight & not AM or PM. Thanks again

The question was what day so the answer is Monday. But I do agree with the comments about using noon and midnight for clear communication.

1. It’s noon. Have a cocktail.
2. If the airport is 15 minutes away, wait until your passenger calls on arrival. Planes can arrive early or late. It will take the person 15 minutes to offload and make their way to the curb. Even private planes have to taxi and park. But really... if I was the one flying I would take a taxi and not inconvenience anyone.

I have no idea. Where are you? Are you in California and you're asking about New York? Then it would be 9 AM. If you're in London then maybe 6 PM. Now I have a headache so I'm going to take a nap. Next time just ask Alexa. Also, the second question makes no sense. The airport is 1 hour 20 minutes away, not 15 minutes. Who of us in our right minds drive to the airport in the middle of the night? And why would you be picking up someone who just got off an airplane? Haven't you heard of the Corona beer? I mean virus? It's probably 8 PM somewhere. I'm going to bed!

To make life easy, 12 AM is at night and 12 PM is daylight.
But EdFNJ was correct about the meridian line.

Noon is when the sun is at its highest peak on any given day or location. in 24 hour time that is 1200 hours. You can use an air almanac or a sextant to determine noon or High Noon as the Movie says.
Time zones are just a convention to accommodate business.
It was fun on ships at sea to determine noon each day and then say,"It is time for lunch."
