I'm having a minor medical procedure next week and was required to get a Covid test.

It is brutal. They stick this little thing way up your nose and it burns like hell.

Has anyone else had it?

Our son had the virus and said he thought they stuck the q-tip into his brain,
brought tears to his eyes. They did it twice once for Flue and then the Covid-19 test.

I haven't had this test but it can't be any worse than and endoscopy up the nose. I had that done many years ago by an allergist. The instrument is rigid and metal and is at least 6" long. I was not given any type of anesthetic and it was very uncomfortable and scary too.

There are tests now for Covid that are not quite as invasive as the one you had. I remember President Trump saying his first test was brutal and it seemed the swab made a left turn somewhere up there. Now, Trump says his tests are painless and nothing like the first test he had.
