I needsomeone to come to the house to set up a new Modem

I am having a problem loosing the internet Need some one to set up a new modem to determine if it was a bad modem or cable

What cable company? Is the replacement modem theirs or yours? If this is cable company equipment, did it come as a self install package? Is the modem going in the same location as the previous one?
I ask these questions as I have helped neighbors with Comcast equipment as Comcast is not going into homes right now, these are relatively easy to setup, no idea about other cable companies.

Phone your internet provider. Tell them the make and model of the new modem and they will confirm it’s compatibility.

They will walk you through the setup process. Normally that means just plugging it in to power and connecting the cable.

They will be able to “see” the new modem and they will provision it for you.

It’s usually very easy.
