I've tried power washing several dark spots on my driveway with no success. Does anyone have other recommendations?

Do you have any idea what these are from, if so try a cleaner dedicated for that substance, if not, then try a specific pressure washer driveway cleaner and try soaking and then washing. I am sure there will be some other suggestions to try also.

depending on the stain, a poultice from kitty litter or diatomaceous earth mixed w/xylene as a poultice will generally pull them out of conc,,, you may need to apply several times,,, don't use heat as that'll just drive the stain deeper into the conc,,, mix up into a poultice & cover the stain(s) - then cover the poultice w/cardboard weighed down to prevent wind from blowing it out of position

We also have several dark spots in our driveway, but I let them be, because dark spots matter.

For oil stains, I use a product named Pour-N-Restore. I think I bought it at ACE Hardware. You pour it onto the stain and it dries to a powder overnight. Then, you just sweep it away with a broom.

WD 40 removes some spots.

Could they be "spots" from a golf cart's battery overflow? I don't think they are removable.

Goof-Off is a pretty effective cleaner in my experience, but it depends on what caused the spots as others have mentioned. If you get it cleaned, you may want to consider sealing the driveway.

NOTE: if you go to have the driveway sealed, make sure you have an anti-skid product like Shark Grip added to the final coat, or you may end up with a very slippery surface when it gets wet.

Simple green and a stiff bristled broom get tire marks off a painted driveway.

If it's from iron in granular lawn fertilizer a wire brush attached to a power drill does the trick, be careful not to burn the concrete and WEAR EYE PROTECTION.
