I highly recommend Digestive Disease Associates in Gainesville (352) 331-8902. I know it's a drive, but when it's your health. I would avoid Dr. Lall (my opinion is that he's more interested in the money than the patient.)

Agree he would not be my choice. Office is unconcerned and poorly managed. I love Thomas Matthew here in the Villages.

My husband has had severe digestive issues since March and has had much frustration dealing with his local GI. He has been a patient there for 12 years. Their office was basically closed during the lock down and the doctors were unavailable. Finally, they allowed their ARNP to start seeing patients and a cat scan revealed diverticulitis. By this time he had lost 25 lbs. After treatment there are still significant issues and, to date, the only time he has seen the doctor is for a procedure. All communication goes through a medical assistant. If there is no resolution after a procedure scheduled for next week, we will need to travel elsewhere, which is what I would recommend to the OP.
