View Full Version : Obama's Birthplace - Kenya

Someone just sent me this and after watching it I e-mailed my state senators and asked them why no one has taken steps to have him removed from office. This is the first time I have seen a video of Obama, himself, admitting to being born in Kenya.

That YouTube video has been debunked for a LONG time.

A good summary of a pack of "birther" claims and their debunking:

Warning - it's *long*.

The left have tried to use that word "birther" to shout people down just like they use the word "racist."

Whenever they cannot come up with facts yell "racists"

They use the words to dismiss the conversation.

Well, I personally don't think the birth certificate cover-up is because of where Obama was born. I think it is because the truth will come out about his true father.

But, my favorite conspiracy theory is that Obama didn't put his hand on the Holy Bible when he was sworn in as President and promised to the best of his ability, "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Wait, that one is true.

That the lot of you would be posting more garbarge.....

"Telling Fox News it's Full of Crap (by Leftake.com)"

Wow... CNN Poll: 41% of Repubilcans think that Obama probably or definitely was not born in the US.

Question: How stupid do you have to be to actually believe this?
Answer: THIS stupid (I'm holding my hands thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis far apart).

You people are one toke over the line. It's too bad you all weren't in on the vetting process yourselves so you could have seen the proof that the man was born in Hawaii, which is the 50th state.

I'm not happy with his performance either, but I'm not running around spreading lies and rumors that are not true. You have no proof and his "certificate of a live birth" in his state was good enough to run for office. Let it go and get on with your lives already. Don't you have a gun club meeting to go to?

Seriously, have you ever seen side-by-side photos of Obama and his communist mentor who lived in Hawaii and Chicago, Frank Marshall Davis? I dunno for sure who the baby's daddy is, but he sure looks like it could be ole Frank.

Snopes or Wikipedia are good resources for getting at information. Maybe, they are not very good for historical research of a serious nature, criticism of literature, philosophical discourse, scientific investigation, but they are relevant for debunking current claims you encounter all over the Internet like this garbage about Obama's birthplace. Do you not think that someone with great credibility would have been able to get at the real facts if President Barack Obama were not born in the United States? McCain, a Bush, Palin, or any of a score of Republican pundits would have discovered something a very long time ago.

Why doesn't he just release his birth cert and school records so we can all be clear?

After requests to release President Bush's college records, they soon regretted it when it was confirmed that Bush had better grades form Yale then John(tax evader) Kerry.:icon_wink:

I was just wondering .... since you have all this energy...

Might you try the *Truth-o-Meter* with George Herbert Walker Bush and see what happens. You remember that guy? He's the guy in the flight suit who announced: "Mission Accomplished".... how many years ago? :a040: Eight??? and now there's no war in Iraq, right?

Let's have a round of applause for old George.... my hero! :clap2:

While Wikipedia might not be the 100% truth because it IS edited by PEOPLE and people are not perfect, the 257 citations at the bottom of the article should give someone plenty of sources to check the facts in that rather large article.

If there was a SHRED of truth to any of the arguments against Obama's citizenship, they would have gotten FAR more traction.

The sad part is that, if McCain had been elected, there would probably be a contigent of the Looney Left questioning HIS qualifications because of him being born in the Panama Canal Zone.

I assume Obama was born in America.

That is all I can do is asssume because for some reason he refuses to show his birth certificate.

If you are convinced that Obama was born in America. What convinced you?

Isn't it a birth certificate that is the only accepted legal proof of where, when and at what time you were born?

What is Obama's reason for refusing to produce his birth certificate?

Do you know he didn't place his hand on the Bible and take the oath of office?

Right back at you. Might you try the *Truth-o-Meter*

"Mission Accomplished"

When Bush announced mission accomplished he was referring to toppling the Saddam Hussein regime which we did very quickly. If any of you were awake during history class in school, you will remember even after we defeated Nazi Germany it took quite a long time to stabilize the country after the fact.

The whole mission accomplished thing was yet another lame left wing liberal spin on the actual truth. Nice try though... time for a new play book maybe.

Yeah, but compare 1952-1953 Germany to 2010 Iraq & Afghanistan (i.e. 7-8 years after the defeat). There wasn't any Nazi insurgency then.

Of course this says more about the people and politics in the regions as opposed to administrations in Washington.

Guest
08-06-2010, 05:27 PM
Not exactly sure how long it lasted but there was plenty of Nazi insurgency after the war. Bombings and the whole deal. Of course they weren't religious zealots but they had a pretty fierce ideology none the less.

Do you remember history lessons about the 1953 uprising in the German Democratic Republic? It occurred just after Stalin’s death on March 5, 1953. It nearly toppled the Russian satellite. Men, women and children were killed by Soviet tanks and thousands were arrested.

I've been here lurking for two years and now that I'm taking up residence next week, I could no longer contain myself.

The same tedious conversation, spewing the lies that people hear on FOX Newsless is beyond tiresome. (My people usually call it F**ks News, but that gets someone's panties in a twist around here.) To repeat, yet again, the broken promise BS, in yet another listing is supremely stupid. WE READ IT ALREADY. OKAY??? No sitting president has ever kept all or even 70% of his campaign promises. Why don't you little fact checkers... check it out??? You seem to have an awful lot of time on your hands. What, no Glenn Beck rally this week?

In the mean time, as soon as I have unpacked, I will be contacting the local chapter of NORML and collecting signatures at Lake Sumter Landing to help pass legislation for the legalization of medical marijuana. I'm not sure how many of you happy campers will be picketing or signing up. All I know is that I have extreme pain from arthritis and other middled aged ailments... and, yes, I'm from California :icon_wink:. That should explain it all. I am trying to stay on the legal side of living in Florida, even if I'm not on the popular political side.

Good thing we have ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC to always tell the truth. Certainly they always present an unbiased view. :a20:

When GW hit 41% popularity it was big news for about 3 weeks straight on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC. Obama just hit 41% and not a peep.

I suspect no president has told the truth 100%. Not sure where Obama sits, maybe about 5% on a good day.

You are correct. That explains a lot. How is that whole liberal entitlement thingy working out in California? Many believe California today is a microcosm of what we can expect for America under Obama and his outfit's (attribution to the Great Fumar) vision of change for America. Medi-Cal needs a bailout, the state gave IOU's instead of checks and California has gone hat in hand to friends in the White House for billions to bail them out. Bailout that comes on the backs of American taxpayers from state's that were more "conservative" with the public dole, big government and spreading the wealth. Their reward is to have their hard earned tax dollars pilfered and given to a failed liberal state gone amok under the weight of its own blissful ignorance.

Will California sacrifice by cutting entitlements, reducing salaries, and slashing the nation's most generous government retirement benefits? Nahhh....Obama will transfer wealth from those wicked, frugal states heretofore weathering the stormy economy by responsible governance. He will give their tax dollars to California, who incidentally ranks 43rd in tax dollars sent to Washington. I have no trouble sending tax dollars to states that have been hit by disaster. I have a problem using tax dollars to subsidize states that look at the world through rose color glasses, whose state flower is cannabis and think THC is the newest wonder drug.

Look to California if you want to see where the current Congress and President are taking our country.

Like you, I deal with arthritis and I think you will find the somewhat arid central Florida climate beneficial. I have no desire to seek the comfort of medical MJ.

Have great day in the Villages.

Why not share a copy of his US Passport that was used for his travels outside of the US while still a child?

That's a very interesting point. The State Department has just released passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother – but records for the years surrounding Obama's 1961 birth are missing.

Just curious Hancle, have you seen the released documents?

Guest
08-07-2010, 01:30 PM
No, I have not seen any documents, but merely posed the question as my US Passport contains a great deal of information including date and place of birth and dates of travel and countries visited. I do not recall hearing about or reading anything of details that should appear on President Obama's Passport.

It would seem to me that the media if it were interested in getting the facts and were doing their job would have no trouble getting hold of this. As was reported earlier on this thread it was pointed out that the media was able to find George Bush's and John Kerry's College grades and I recall there was quite a lot of information obtained and reported on, about George Bush's Texas National Guard days and John Kerry's Viet Nam Service.

One would think that the media should also be able to ferret out President Obama's College Grades as well as his childhood travel dates and countres visited and back, to the USA. From what has been reported about Mr Obama being born in The US and doing extensive international travel as a child, I believe his Passport should contain all that is needed to finally clear up the concerns expressed by so many.

From Occidental College and Columbia University to Harvard and all points in between, President Obama's college transcripts have been sealed. I don't know what they have to hide. It is similar to Hillary Rodham's (Clinton) records from Wellesley College being sealed. They were later opened.

I suppose the Progressives were afraid of what people would think about Clinton's senior thesis exhalting the tactics of radical community organizer Saul Alinsky. Since then Clinton proudly professes that she is a Progressive.

Here's a link to Obama's mother's passport records which were just released. It takes a long time to download. Like I said, the US State Department said all records around the time of Obama's childhood travels with his mother have been destroyed.
